| They were far enough from Loch Ness Just to be just in time for the last hope. Luckily so far they didn't have any problems. Kanda was keeping up him paste and didn't look around to make sure if Chun-Hei was following him. It was going to be a long and quiet journey... for now... | |

| Chun Hei wasn't really bothered by the fact that he seemed to pretend that she wasn't there. It was true that she had a hard time trying to keep up, but she quickly got used to it As long as he was in sight, she knew where she was headed, and when he wasn't, she simply called for him. Some people would have gotten annoyed or bored, but she was quite content being ignored, and in return ignoring him. She just stared of into space and reflected over things that had happened, that could happen and what would happen if she got into a battle with AKUMA. The last thing named made her a bit uneasy. She had no real abilities to fight them herself and something made her think that this Kanda person wouldn't protect her if they were attacked. Then again, being protected was simple below her. She'd rather have her head blown off. | |

| The sun was beaming as if with happiness and everyone would look at it with a smile. It was a good weather. As for Kanda... He was beaming with unhappiness and was, as if it could be any more that that, pissed of. Everyone would look at him with fear. His whole body resembled someone that wouldn't hesitate and do thing his way, not caring a bit for the others. They were about two-tree hours or even more from the place they were headed. It was far, but it was going to seem even further. Out of the blue Kanda stopped in one spot and looked around appraisingly. His "smile" didn't leave his face and started to walk somewhat slowly. - I'll tell you this. If there is any AKUMA attack, don't count on me helping you. You have your talisman so you'd better go and join the other two - finder and bookman helper. Got it? | |

| Chun Hei stopped as well, a few meters behind him. "Of course. I'll do that." She shrugged and looked around. She could smell the lake, so it must be near now. So if they were at the lake she'd probably find them quickly. Except, she thought and sighed, they could be anywhere. | |

| It was going to be a long and boring way to the lake. But that was not a problem compared to the fact that the lake is 56.4 km² only by surface. How were they going to be able to find the others?! Well at least that is the only problem... for now... | |

| ((Look, first you make it sound like I'm just about to leave and now you say there's a long way left? >.< How am I supposed to know how to reply when you change your mind all the time?))
---- edit Look. I don't change my mind. I said "They were about two-tree hours or even more from the place they were headed" while you were running. But when I said that the journey was going to be a long one, from the meaning in the text I meant that it would be boring because of Kanda's company >.> correct me if I'm wrong. Still you will be there soon, so don't worry. Just write how you look around the place and enjoy or not the view... | |

| Time was passing by, and Kanda was getting more and more inpatient. He knew something, but it was just not certain yet... He stopped once again and said, - You'd better be ready to run, because you'll need it. | |

| ((You're right. I'm sorry.)) Chun Hei stopped and looked around. She didn't see anything special. "What are you talking about? I don't see anything." Still, he had more experience of this so she decided to trust him. She prepared to run away in any direction, while listening carefully for any sound that could hint from where this... something would come. | |

| As they were standing patiently an AKUMA did appear and attacked them. It was no problem for the blue haired exorcist. The only problem was that they kept coming more and more. Some of them were even level 2. How was Chun-Hei to act now?! Especially when she was surrounded... | |

| ((d*mn. I'm not even sure how these talisman-things work XD. I asked Erin and she says they're for creating barriers or force fields or something. I'll have to trust her on this one. Also, I love how horribly selfish Chun Hei is becoming :3)) Chun Hei looked around for a weak spot in the barrier of Akuma. She found one. At one spot there was only one single level 1 Akuma, which she trapped inside a barrier, and then ran for it. She didn't look back to see if there were Akuma following her, as it probably wouldn't make much difference if she saw tha Akuma or not. However, she was not planning to flee. She realized it was not a very good idea to leave Kanda behind, as he right now was her only weapon. Therefore, after a while of running, she turned around and began to move back to the battle. | |

| As she was about to run back, two AKUMA were in font of her. One of them even smiled and was about to shoot when Kanda came to the rescue ( XD Kanda the savior ). When he eliminated them yelled at Chun-Hei, - Baka! I told you to get to the other two. Not run back into the battle! | |

| "I know what you said!", she yelled back "And I'll be glad to explain why I didn't do so - when we're not knee-deep in akuma!" Chun Hei was getting more and more annoyed with the man. Was he really that stupid or was he just pretending? | |

| In a matter of seconds Kanda proved to Chun-Hei that he was able to defeat the AKUMA with easy. Before she knew it, there was already a cleared passage for her to get going. There were many other for the exorcist to fight, but the one thing he needed now was someone for him to protect. - I SAID GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!
---- edit just do it XD he won't protevt you next time... 100% by admin | |

| ((Actually I'm surprised he's protected me for this long.)) Chun Hei sighed inwardly and ran away to a safer spot, where she hid herself in some bushes. Stubborn fool. If Akuma were attacking them, it meant Innocense had been found and the Akuma were here to delay them, so that they won't be able to aid that finder. Which meant that even alone, she would be targetted. Which meant she was in as great danger here as back there. If there were Akuma following her, she was screwed. Chun Hei let out a long sigh. She'd much rather stayed there in the middle of the battle. Then, at least, she'd know when Akuma would attack. She'd much rather know for sure than just hide like a rat and hope for the best.

| AKUMA were able to spot her in the bushes. One of them - perhaps the most stupid one, even looked at her from above. There was no other chance for her but to go and find the other two. Who knows what Kanda will do if he sees her still here...
---- edit you'd better do it. that is you are supposed to listen to an exorcist. one more post here, and then go to Erin and Toshiro. One post to find them before joining them... by admin | |
