"F*CK YOU!" Once the rock was thrown to the ground it was blown to pieces by the furious Akuma, before she turned her hand back to its human shape and grabbed the girl tightly, lifting her off the ground, not trusting the child's feet to be able to run fast enough. She sped forward, not even looking where she was going, doing her best to dodge obstacles that might get in her way. It wasn't that easy when she was carrying a terrified brat in her hands AND running for her life, but she did her best and hoped she'd be able to reach SOMETHING, before she got crushed. 'I'm seriously gonna start hating caves if I'm forced to live a life like this!' Her thoughts wandered for a second towards her long nearly three-hours-long walk back in the Akuma Hideout and she grunted, trying to run even faster. 'd*mn that Innocence! D*mn it!'

Finally she reached the end of the narrowing tunnel and after she got out of it there was no visible way she could go back. The room they were in was not as narrow as the previous but wasn't vast either. Again it was pitch black and Akai could hardly tell what was what.

"Stupid caves! Stupid narrow passages! Stupid traps! Stupid ways back!" She mumbled curses under her breath, while she was putting the girl down on her feet and trying to make out anything from the place they were. "Can you walk, chibi?" She didn't sound really concerned, but it would be a problem if the brat was too stiff to go on walking on its own...

The girl mumbled a "yes" and its hair was rustled by a small gust of wind. It was still dark and even the raging redhead couldn't light the place with her anger...

A loud snort left her lips as she caught the girl's hand again and started moving towards one of the walls of the place, deciding it would be better to walk parallel to it as to follow only one track and not to get lost. She kept her eyes narrowed and stepped steadily, careful not to have an unexpected surprise like last time, hardly touching the wall so that she was sure it was still there.
She took another few steppes, when... 'Wait a second...' She turned towards the girl and froze in her tracks. Wind? Where did that come from? If there was wind then maybe there were two ways out... Or something was causing the wind... She never knew what to expect from those damned peaces of Godly matter... She stayed still for a little longer, before taking a step away from the wall, trying to feel where the wind was coming from.

The wind was blowing next to her right cheek... it brought the scent of blood.

Her eyes shining Akai clenched her companion's hand tightly as a deadly and sadistic grin spread over her face. There was nothing that could get her more excited than this scent and in seconds she forgot about her irritation and tiredness and she was almost running towards the place the smell was coming from. 'If this actually leaves to the Innocence,' she thought, 'Then God is quite the sadist himself'.

Akai's idea to run straight towards the scent wasn't that good, for she... hit a wall and fell backwards. The darkness wasn't always one's ally.

Another wave of curses washed over the child's ears as Akai didn't have the decency to lower her tone while she was promising the wall before her the most painful death imaginable in a very vulgar language. She could hardly keep herself from blowing said wall into small pieces, but the little self control she had was strengthened by the desire to reach the place where the bloodshed had been. She carefully traced her hand over the wall which was going to go down once she had finished her objective and tried to make out the way the scent of blood was coming from so that she could follow it.

The scent was coming from a small crack in the wall, from where the wind blew gently also carrying the odor.

Akai's face broke into a maniac grin as she stepped a little to the side and shielding the girl with her body so that if there was some light she wouldn't see what was going on, she transformed her free arm again, stretching it towards the crack and firing a few violent shots towards it, hoping to make a big enough passageway that both she and the brat could use.

The wall broke into pieces, making also a part of the so called "roof" to crumble and let a bit of sunlight to enter the gloomy cave. It lit the next chamber where bodies were screwed upon wooden spears and a lone man was lying dying near one of the walls. The girl shouted "chichi" and ran towards him. After she hugged him, she turned around to face Akai, her eyes full of joyful tears only to be greeted by the cannon that now represented the redhead's arm.

'Chichi? What kind of name is that? Freaky old man...' The Akuma seamed fascinated by the beautiful sight of the scattered bodies and bloodied spears. She was interested in the sight so much that she didn't care enough as to turn her arm back, before it was too late. Ok, so the brat found out, now what? She was just a stupid girl, the redhead could think up a way to lie to her. If she couldn't then she'd just kill the cursed midget, it caused her enough headaches already!
"Well, look at what a handy arm I have here, don't you think? If it wasn't for it we wouldn't have found this Chichi person," she gave her a satisfied grin, while transforming her hand into human shape again. "Here, it's normal again, you see? Useful thing, ne, chibi?"

The girl screamed and cuddled near her father, who held up a katana in his right shaking hand. It was obvious that he was going to protect his daughter and himself, but his vision seemed blurry.

Sighing the woman scratched the back of her head helplessly.
"Look, I'm not going to do anything to either of you ," 'yet...' "so just calm down and drop the act, I can obviously see you can't fight like this! Just tell me what got you here and what happened, I'm looking for the thing that caused this whole mess. I don't even care about you two" 'Stupid humans think it's all about them...' Her annoyance was clearly showing in her words, but the demon managed to keep herself from just shooting them right there and then.

"At the next chamber..." said the man before dropping his weapon and passing away. The girl's screams echoed through the room with the dead people...

Rising an eyebrow at the passed out man she crossed her arms in front of her chest. 'They all die too easily...' She shook her head a little, but couldn't hep but grin when the girl's screams echoed in the deadly cave. Oh, how she loved hearing those pitiful creatures scream in horror or despair. It brought to her sadistic pleasure and it lifted her spirits, before she looked around more carefully, trying to find the way to the 'next chamber' while enjoying her screams.

And she found it... right beside the girl's curled up body, clutching to her father desperately.

Smirking slightly the redhead walked past the girl unfazed by her desperate looking form, ignoring her completely. There was no way she'd let the brat slow her down when she had gone so far! She went trough that annoying cave AND had to take care of the chibi and now it was time to get what she came here for. If it was even here, that is.
Akai made sure to be cautious as she stepped in the next chamber, looking carefully around and keeping her guard up, ready to transform into her real shape if needed.

Akai's carefulness didn't matter since the room didn't have a floor and the redhead fell down. When she came to she was lying on the floor of a chamber full of torches and an Innocence fragment was waltzing around the room, bothered by all the leftovers of Akuma bodies on the floor.

"Well well, would you look at that," The maniac grin was back as she realized she could soon be back to the town, taking her sweet time to wipe out every last human from it.
Still, the leftovers of her kind made her a bit wary. She refused to believe that an Akuma could be so fragile as to break from falling from that height... So there had to be something else... Maybe the Innocence had its own defensive system or something? This things always used to cause trouble, after all...
Carefully Akai stepped a little bit closer to the piece of Godly matter and prepared herself for defense, meanwhile trying to spot the reason the other Akumas had been destroyed there.

As she was walking around, she noticed that her skin was starting to peel off... And then the pain of the effect of the Innocence on her came.

The Akuma turned into her original form with all of the weapons and such, flying back hurriedly, as if burned, trying to get as far away from the Innocence as possible, hoping that that goddamn effect won't be permanent as the pain cut trough her. Sure, she liked to inflict pain, but that didn't mean she liked to feel pain...

And it stopped but Akai was too far away from the Innocence to get it, it was far too powerful for her.

"Godd*mn you!" the Akuma muttered from the other side of the room as the giant machine stood firmly next to the farthest wall of the place. She couldn't get it. She couldn't even get close to it. Yeah, that was the Innocence, that's for sure - what else would cause so much problems for her? And what was she supposed to do now? She couldn't just leave it here and go look for that Noah, she hadn't finished her mission to kill as much as possible... but she couldn't get it, either... 'Well, the orders were only to find it...' Remembering the Noah's words she started to relax slightly. Still, Akai wasn't sure what she was supposed to do.
And then it striked her. The brat She wasn't a demon, she could do it! If the redhead could only drag her useless little body down here and make her grab the Innocence, then drag her back up and out of the place and keep watching her while she was killing off the people in the village everything would be all right... Though that wouldn't be as simple as it sounded... But she couldn't do anything else, so without hesitating she started flying up, trying to reach the place she had left the girl at.
